Emergency lighting systems require regular testing and maintenance in accordance with BS5266 Part 1 to ensure reliability and integrity. Some installations have automatic test facilities but many rely on manual testing. There are also two types of emergency lighting system - self contained emergency luminaries that have an internal battery and central battery systems that use slave luminaries. Installation
Millennium Fire Protection can install an emergency lighting system to suit your particular requirements; there are various options of luminaries from standard bulkhead fittings, internally illuminated exit signs and twin spotlights, through to more lavish crystal effect and brass, chrome or white finished lights. Many of these are available as non-maintained, maintained or combined type units. There is also a range of LED illuminated emergency lights that are extremely efficient and have a long life span. Spare Parts & Conversion Kits
Although it is not always cost effective to keep very old emergency lights in service we can supply and fit a number of spare parts including battery packs, tubes and modules. Conversion kits are also available for various applications.
